ICIN 2018 Call for Demonstration

The 21st Conference on Innovation in Clouds, Internet and Networks (ICIN 2018) will be held 20-22 February 2018 at Orange premises near Paris, France. The ICIN conference, established in 1989 and praised for the richness of its social networking, is also recognized for its continuous adaptation to emerging technical trends. As the main theme for ICIN 2018, “5G Network Architecture and Solutions: are we ready?” will explore the maturity and gaps remaining for end-to-end and large scale 5G technologies deployment. The conference will foster presentation of novel approaches and technical solutions, as well as experimental validation and proof of concepts.
In addition to the technical papers, the TPC invites proposals for innovative prototype demonstrations, coming from academia or industry. As a leading edge forum for researchers and engineers in the field of Networks & Telecommunications, ICIN 2018 offers the best opportunity to show and discuss new proof-of-concepts and prototypes with a highly skilled and innovating audience.
We are seeking the following types of contributions:

  • Demos from industrial researchers or academic research groups related to ICIN 2018 key topics, including (but not limited to) 5G Network Architecture and Solutions
  • Demos from authors about the concepts presented in their paper(s), submitted to the main conference and/or to the associated events.
Submission Guidelines for Demos:

Prospective contributors are expected to turn in a demo proposal in the form of a 3-page paper in IEEE conference double-column format that can be downloaded from:

https://www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing/templates.html

Each submission should preferably incorporate a demo system architecture illustration. Submissions should be original, unpublished work, not currently under review by other conferences or journals.

Demo papers will be peer-reviewed and accepted papers will be included in the electronic conference/workshops proceedings bundle provided to ICIN 2018 delegates and will be subsequently made available via IEEE xplore. Proposals and camera-ready demo papers should be submitted via EDAS: https://edas.info/N23491

At least one author of each accepted demo proposal is required to register for the ICIN 2018 main conference and present their demo at the scheduled demo session(s). All necessary material to the demonstration should be provided by the authors.

Important Dates:
  • Submission deadline:December 6th, 2017
  • Acceptance notification: December 20th, 2017
  • Camera ready: January 5th, 2018
Demonstrations Co-Chairs:

Please feel free to contact the demo Co-Chairs if you have any questions regarding the demo content or setup.
